What we collect
- Account: email and authentication identifiers (via Clerk).
- Your inputs: the questions / policies you submit.
- Outputs: the analyses and reports generated for you.
- Payments: transaction metadata (via Razorpay). We do not store card details.
- Usage: basic logs required to operate the service.
How we use it
To provide the service, process payments, deliver your results, and (importantly during this early stage) to evaluate and improve Aequitas (quality, calibration, and reliability of analyses). We will tell you if this materially changes.
Model improvement & your choice
“Improvement use” means using your submitted inputs and the reports generated for you to tune and evaluate our own models and product (for example, improving the quality and reliability of analyses). You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy & data → Model improvement.
- Forward-only: opting out stops future analyses from being used for improvement. It does not retroactively remove data already incorporated before you opted out.
- Operational use continues: regardless of this choice, we retain and process what is needed to run the service: delivering your reports, billing, security, and abuse prevention.
- Honored per run: your choice is read when you submit an analysis and travels with that job through our systems.
Processors
We share data with infrastructure providers strictly to run the service: Clerk (auth), Neon (database), Razorpay (payments), Resend (email), and our AI model providers, which process inputs to generate your results under their API terms. They process data on our behalf; our own improvement use is governed by the setting above.
Retention & your choices
We retain your account, inputs, and reports while your account is active and as needed for the purposes above. To request access or deletion, contact founder@aequitas.world; we respond as required by applicable law (e.g. GDPR / India DPDP where relevant).
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers, and access is restricted.
